We live just outside city limits and have a well system. We use just a tiny amount of Super Iron Out each month in our water softener salt bin which has resolved our iron problem. I have saved literally hundreds of dollars at the salon because we no longer have to have our hair stripped of iron!
I am a nurse by profession, and white, professional looking uniforms are a must. Unfortunately the area I live in gets its public water supply from a deep well, and contains a lot of iron. Over time my white uniforms turn yellow, and bleach just makes it worse. I saw your White Brite product at the store and decided to give it a try. To my amazement it took out all of the yellow, and did not affect the embroidered logos on my uniforms. I am so glad I finally found a product that works.
Our well water is FULL of iron. We have a water softening system that takes the iron out of the house water but no outside faucets are connected to it.
In order to fill our pool, we connect a hose to the shower. The softener ran out of salt and we got a horrible iron stain in the bottom of our bathtub. Super Iron Out Liquid is specifically formulated with mild, non-abrasive chemicals that change rust into a clear soluble state that easily rinses away without scrubbing.
Super Iron Out is recommended to be used when new rust stains appear inside or outside your home.
Super Iron Out is not recommended to be use on:
- Wood
- Cars (including parts like the radiator)
- Painted Materials
- Exposed and Corroded Rusting Metal
- Water Treatment Equipment (like Water Softeners)
- Natural Marble
- Terrazo
- Brick and Stone with Iron Oxide Pigments
ALWAYS TESET IN AN INCONSPICUOUS AREA BEFORE USING SUPER IRON OUT.

Super Iron OutŪ Spray should be left on a surface for preferably, about 30 seconds. If the stain is not removed in this timeframe, Super Iron OutŪ Spray can be rinsed and reapplied for stubborn stains. As with all cleaners, never leave on any surface longer than necessary to do the job.
Super Iron OutŪ Spray is formulated to primarily just remove rust and iron. However, it is effective against lime and calcium build-up as well.

Super Iron OutŪ Spray can be used on white clothing by wetting the stained area with water and then spraying Super Iron OutŪ Spray directly on the fabric where the stain is present. Allow Super Iron OutŪ Spray to saturate until the stain is gone, rinse with cold water, and wash as usual.
Super Iron OutŪ Spray can be sprayed directly to the stained area for stain removal and rinsed when the stain is removed.
